Paul Sherman
FOUNDER
Paul has had a lifelong commitment to mathematics and science. After completing his undergraduate studies in math and physics, he later did graduate work in astrophysics and representation theory. This rigorous foundation led to a successful career as an investor, including as President of Weiss Asset Management. Throughout his career, Paul has remained actively engaged in math education, teaching at middle and high school levels, founding math circles, and instructing at math summer camps. Paul has also served on the boards of multiple organizations that support young talent in mathematics, particularly those lacking resources and support. As President of the Polynera Fund, Paul focuses on providing opportunities and resources for the next generation of mathematicians and scientists.
